Rick is the original founder of Leading Edge Insurance Agency. With an aviation education from Embry-Riddle – Prescott, Rick has been around planes for much of his life. Prior to opening Leading Edge, Rick was deep in the industry first hand as an aviation insurance underwriter, where he was able to learn insurance from a carrier’s perspective. With his 4 boys and wife, Rick can be found out on his boat in the summer or skiing the fresh powder when it’s snowing.
Joe has been with Leading Edge Insurance Agency since 2013. A pilot himself, Joe currently holds his Commercial Multi-Engine License and also his CFI and CFII certificates. A graduate from Lewis University, Joe studied Aviation Flight Management. When he’s not in the office, you can find him in the mountains rock climbing, hiking, and enjoying the outdoors.
Hal has been with Leading Edge Insurance Agency since 2013, and has enjoyed the insurance industry for the last 2 decades! After spending 8 years in the military, Hal found himself enjoying Colorado with his wife Susan and their 14 grandchildren. When he’s not traveling or doing mission work, you can find him cheering on his Michigan Wolverines.
Steve has been with Leading Edge Insurance Agency since 2009! Originally from Kansas City, Steve moved to Colorado in 2004 and enjoys spending his time outdoors, hiking, inline skating, and off road biking.
Joe has been a part of Leading Edge Insurance Agency’s team since 2011. Originally from Michigan, Joe enjoys spending time with his wife and 7 kids in Colorado’s great outdoors, hunting, fishing and golfing.
Justin has been with Leading Edge Insurance Agency for close to 10 years. Justin began his aviation career early in life and enjoyed a long season of 15 years being chief pilot for a national pharmaceutical company. He holds the insurance designation of Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist and also holds pilot ratings of ATP, CFII, & Type Ratings in several Learjet aircraft. Justin has the experience to write aviation insurance in any form whether that be large commercial type aircraft, corporate jets, helicopters, crop dusters, or any form of general & commercial aviation. When Justin isn’t working, you may find him tending to his Christian aviation nonprofit he founded in 2006 or possibly at the golf course or lake, boating.
Andeidra is Leading Edge’s newest team member, with many years of insurance experience. She is a Bahamian American, wife and mother of two. In her off time you will find her spending time with family, cooking, creating art or being a muse behind someone’s camera lens.
Bates is a recent addition to the Leading Edge team. Originally from South Carolina, he graduated from the University of Mississippi prior to beginning a career in the aviation insurance industry. In his free time, you can find him playing tennis, grilling, or enjoying the outdoors.
